elderflower syrup

From our recipe book # 1!
Elderflower syrup :

25 elder cymes
1 liter of water

1.5 kg of granulated sugar

1/2 lemon

1/4 orange

25 g of citric acid
Mint / lemon balm if you like

Preparation:
Boil water with sugar, stirring constantly - allow to cool.
Add the remaining ingredients and let cool for 24h.
Strain and bottle.

Our recommendation for hot summer days:
Ice-cooled Prosecco with fresh, homemade elderflower syrup 🥂
