  1. Wurzeralm – Rote Wand – Dümlerhütte


    Experience one of the most beautiful hikes in the Totes Gebirge mountains! This circular trail from Wurzeralm to the striking Rote Wand and on to the Dümlerhütte offers breathtaking views, varied paths, and a truly alpine experience.

    The hike is of moderate difficulty, requiring surefootedness and good basic fitness. Most of the trail follows well-maintained paths, winding through idyllic alpine meadows and light forests, with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

    A special highlight is a stop at the Dümlerhütte, where you can recharge and soak in the scenery.

    Note: Due to hunting regulations, the Dolomitensteig is closed annually from September 15 to October 1.
