Popular destinations are Hallstatt (approx. 90 minutes), Admont Abbey (approx. 50 minutes), the Cumberland Wildlife Park in Grünau im Almtal (approx. 1 hour) and Schmiding Zoo (approx. 50 minutes). Right in the region you'll find the Höss and Wurzeralm mountain railways (included with the AktivCard in summer), the Schiederweiher and the Dr. Vogelgesang Gorge. In bad weather we recommend the museum “Between Heaven and Earth – Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner and the World of the 8000ers” in Spital am Pyhrn and the Therme Mediterrana in Bad Hall.
