Skiing for beginners and experts.
The Höss is one of the best-known ski areas in Upper Austria: over 40 kilometres of groomed slopes, modern lifts and a vertical drop of around 1,400 metres. A few minutes further on, the Wurzeralm in Spital am Pyhrn offers over 20 kilometres of slopes.
On request, the free ski bus takes you to the ski area in the morning and back in the afternoon. Skis and boots dry in the heated ski room.
Quiet trails through the snow.
Away from the slopes, Hinterstoder shows its quietest side: cleared winter hiking trails lead through snowy forests, across wide meadows and around the frozen Schiederweiher at the head of the valley.
Afterwards, the Saunaplatz'l awaits – and in the evening the gourmet half board.
